Los Angeles CA Hotel Reviews

“We booked this hotel for a short trip to LA and I wanted a hotel close to the embassy I wanted to visit. This was walking distance and had good reviews and so I booked it quickly. I was expecting an average hotel but it turned out to be an excellent choice. It was very close to the small downtown of Westwood village with chic restaurants, coffee shops and theater. And the best part was the room - it was very comfortable, nice decor, clean and beautifully upgraded. It turned out to be a great surprise and more than what I wanted in this hotel. Big thumbs up!“

“This small hotel is in a wonderful location--very close to UCLA for a college tour. You can have a continental breakfast before stepping out for the day. Three marvelous things my family and I enjoyed: Comfortable beds w/plump pillows, a microwave to heat up leftovers and the shower head.
Yes, parking is tight but it's FREE.

The one small irritation is the lack of personality from the folks running the front desk.
Would we stay here again? You bet!“

“This small three-story hotel began life as a 1960s apartment building. It still has a mid-century modern look, but has recently been renovated. I found my room well-appointed and spacious with a super-comfortable bed and a great variable-spray shower-head. It was also completely quiet; although I had a front room with a balcony on the street, I never heard street noise. The staff was helpful and the hotel provided a useful map of the neighborhood. I was in town to visit museums and friends, but I donít drive, so I appreciated that stops for buses to both the Getty Museum and LACMA were just a couple of minutes away and that friends who visited had a place to park. It isnít super fancy, but the price was modest, making this great value for the money.“
